In his role with Interserve, Andrew has delivered c.£300m of healthcare facilities, with extensive experience of construction and supply chain management. This wealth of expertise enables him to support IP’s partners at the highest level, in terms of strategic estates transformation, construction and secondary services procurement.
Andrew’s technical skill, innovative approach and ability to manage complex schemes ensures the partnership delivers fully considered solutions that reduce risk and cost. This is supported by an in-depth understanding of the structure and organisation of the healthcare sector, the challenges facing NHS organisations and the opportunities for Trusts to develop their estate.
Leighton started his career as a surveyor in general practice and has more than 17 years’ experience in health and social care development, specialising in providing strategic property development and funding advice.
As a Board Director of Interserve Prime, he has an in-depth knowledge of NHS procurement, funding and contract structures, with the ability to successfully translate a Trust’s requirements into a property solution that will meet their clinical and business aims.
Most recently, Leighton has been focused on working with acute trusts and has an up-to-date, detailed understanding of the successful commercial structures for hospital retail, car parking, private patient and patient hotel facilities.
Wendy TeoCommunications and Engagement Director
With over 20 years’ experience, Wendy brings a wealth of expertise in communication and stakeholder engagement, specifically around public private joint venture partnerships, estates transformation and estates development programmes.
Her wide-ranging experience spans the acute sector, as well as primary and community care, helping Trusts to achieve their strategic objectives and deliver effective solutions in an efficient and joined-up way. In her role for Interserve Prime, she also supports the marketing of commercial opportunities to maximise value.
Vikki TownFinance and Commercial Director
Vikki has a strong financial background and a range of industry experience, having worked for a number of large listed companies across the property, IT and leisure sectors.
As a Board Director of Interserve Prime, Vikki has a solid understanding of the commercial dynamics of the SEP model and plays a key role in the management of financial information for IP’s joint ventures, ensuring operational and financial efficiency while delivering best value for clients. As well as her knowledge of NHS accounting requirements and funding models, she works closely with the commercial team, creating attractive investment products to bring in private finance.
Robert has more than 25 years’ experience within the construction industry – 13 of these in healthcare - having previously worked across the commercial, retail, local government and defence sectors. As Commercial Principal for Interserve Consulting, he is responsible for compliance and continual improvement and was key to the commercial delivery of the Department of Health’s Procure21+ Framework within Interserve.
Robert’s skills lie in partnering and delivering value-led solutions and in his role for Interserve Prime, he is responsible for commercial governance for IP’s joint venture partnerships.
